Your details stay in Hornby
The short version: we collect what we need to quote your roof, we keep it to ourselves, and when you ask us to delete it, we do. The longer version is below, in plain English.
What we collect
When you ring or use the booking form: your name, phone number, property address, and whatever you tell us about your roof. During a roof check we also take photos of your roof — they’re part of your report and they’re yours to keep.
What we use it for
- Ringing you back to set a time, and getting to the right house.
- Looking at your roof on the aerial maps before we come out, so the visit is useful.
- Writing your photo report, quote, and — if you go ahead — your guarantee.
- Honouring that guarantee years later, which means keeping job records for as long as the guarantee runs.
What we don’t do
- Sell, rent, or swap your details. Ever, to anyone.
- Add you to a mailing list you didn’t ask for.
- Run a follow-up call campaign after a quote. One quote, then it’s your decision on your timeline.
Who else sees it
Nobody, with two practical exceptions: if we arrange a sparky or another trade for part of your job, they get the address and access details they need and nothing more. And if you make an insurance claim and ask us to deal with your assessor, we share the photo report and scope of works with them — with your say-so, not before.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (we’ll keep the minimum needed for any active guarantee, and tell you exactly what that is). Ring 03 741 0227 or come by the yard at Unit 2, 39 Foremans Road, Hornby — ask for Kate.
